Census of Cohousing.  Created analyzeable database to provide descriptive statistics and charts on status of occupied cohousing communities in the US, 2006 and 2008.  Produced for the Cohousing Association of the US. 

Business development  for the San Mateo Community Action Agency 2009-2010

  • Solar for all Californians Initiative –Wrote winning proposal for $6 million competitive contract  with the California Community Services. Department to install photovoltaic systems at no cost to low-income homeowners and renters in four Bay Area Counties. Collaborative agreements brokered with Morgan Stanley Solar Solutions and a dozen other public and nonprofit partners.
  • Residential Energy Efficiency in Mountain View. Won $20,000 contract from the City of Mountain View to weatherize homes of 100-200 low-income households, in accordance with the city's new Green Strategic Plan. 
  • Impact of utility policies on supply and demand for energy efficiency services in low-income households. Research memo in for public testimony by staff before the joint meeting of the Caliifornia Public Utilities Commission and California Energy Commission, January 27, 2010.

Managing Community Assessments/Online Tools for Community Assessments,  Half day training delivered annually since 2006 at the Annual Head Start Management Institute, produced by the Center for Community Futures, San Francisco, CA..

Green Jobs/Community Action. Summit.  Organized an invitational gathering for the Bay Area Poverty Resource Council, (the association of Bay Area community action agencies, with key nonprofit stakeholder groups and  identify opportunities and barriers to creating jobs in the improving the energy efficiency of buildings. Green for All, USGBC, ACORN, Enterprise Community Partners.  April, 2009. 

Berkeley International Food Festival, 2006-2009.  Executive oversight, budgets, contracts, hiring., neighborhood organizing, volunteer coordinator, for event drawing 12,000 people from across Bay Area to multi-cultural, community-based street fair sponsored by West Berkeley Neighborhood Devleopment Corporation and City of Berkeley and local community and corporate partners.
